Lighthouse horror

Wind poured through the front door to the old grim lighthouse, sending a cold chill streaming into the living room and bringing with it a few of the abandoned ornaments from the shelves, leaving their contents on the floor. It was a strong, cold north wind on a particularly cold Autumn day's and it seemed that this wind was dragging with it thick black clouds and monstrous waves behind it. It was about 8 o"clock on that chilly night and the sun was just getting ready to set when suddenly out of nowhere a car's engine shattered the silence.
The car drove right up to almost the door of the lighthouse and then swung steeply round, and parked on the long and unkempt grass just off the little path. There was a brief silence on the cliff again after the engine was turned off, and then it was rudely interrupted again by the opening of the car door, and the high pitch laugh of one of it's inhabitancies as they stumbled to get out. Two people soon emerged out of the car, a girl, who was obviously the source of the laughter, and the man who probably provoked it. It seemed quite odd that this couple were so happy together and then the reason for it was reviled when the man bent back into the car to produce a bottle of vodka. .
With bottle in hand, the man and the woman proceeded towards the front door of the lighthouse hand in hand, not bothering to lock their car or to look at the mischievous clouds approaching fast. Their spirit's were not dampened one tiny bit when they saw the mess the place was in and nothing was said about the random splodge of thick red on the bright white walls. They just proceeded straight up the stairs to the light room, stripping off as they went. Soon after they had gone to the light room the heavens opened and the rain beat down on the huge windows like bombs being dropped. It was a combination of this and the couple being relieved by each other that finally brought a dampening to their night.
