This paper will discuss two professional ethical dilemmas about different situations at the Agency that I have worked for. I will discuss the dilemmas and propose a resolution to each one. Every employee have a responsibility to the agency, to be honest, loyal, and dedicated, they also have that same responsibility to themselves to make the best decision based on their ethics and morals. Honesty in the agency business creates creditability, but many employee have failed in an attempt to make ethical decisions. This is common practice for many businesses, but with a rapidly growing global market, companies can't afford to continue to operate in this manner.
Each of the cases in this paper will show the many problems supervisors and teachers face in an attempt to create an ethical environment. For some this is a difficult task. As spoken on earlier in this paper, every employee has the responsibility of helping a agency grow. Even when employees create new ideas to help a agency's growth, that's a part of their responsibility to them as an employee to that agency. I will begin this paper with the first case where a supervisor commitment to policy and procedures, is faced with a professional dilemma, the second case a teacher should become an Center Administrator. Hartford has deviate from their normal policies to meet the staffs demand. This practice is becoming to be the norm in many U.S. businesses today. With labor unions, contracts, and company policies in place to commit employers and employees to fair work practices for a fair days work, some of these deviations are unethical to the employee. Managers are given the task of creating and maintaining a productive work environment for their employees. This would cause them to be more productive and make quality decisions, which would create creditability for the company. .
Ethical dilemmas have created a vast amount of problems in companies that have the resources and ability to benchmark their industry.
