Just Faith

We cannot always envisage what will happen next. In our life, fate plays a critical role to what happens next in our adventure. When one is propitious, he will say that fate is on his side. When two people meet each other, they"ll say it's their destiny. Others just leave their providence to God. But fate doesn't always bring good luck. Sometimes, it brings adversity. When we have an accident, it is also our fate. It takes away life with a snap! Just like that. It's like the seventh plague that God sent to Egypt. It comes to take comes first in our lives then recedes like a wisp of smoke. But it leaves a scar forged to the heart and soul of the one who is left behind.
Boaz Negro is a blind man. Fate has taken away his wife, Angelina, and his three sons. He was left with his son who loves to spend the riches that he had worked so hard for. And yet, he continued to live and earn a living. Not only for himself but also for his good-for-nothing son who he loves very much. He has the passion to work day and night. He has that remarkably unquenchable exuberance that kept him with the company of young men. His run for the mil shop turned into a club because he is such a good host. It can be said that he never got tired of being a cobbler and is proud to be one. One hitch about him is that he didn't teach his son to work for himself. He always gives him that "piece for the pocket". But all of his apathy left him when his beloved son was slain.
Yes, he lost his unquenchable exuberance. But it was replaced with a burning passion. A kind of fire that cannot be put out unless willed. The thought of finally having revenge on the assassin of his son kept him alive. Through hardships and heartbreaks, he kept on living and plotting on how he was going to kill the cachorra. He is very witty to be able to come up with a trap. The mechanism that he devised which will close all the exits from his shop with a single pull of a rope.
