He attracted an attention after the publication of his ideas in the Danish newspaper, Politiken. The debate has arisen since 1998. He published a book titled, "The True State of the World", which is really pretentious. He was named as "skeptical environmentalist" after the book. Anderson says that there were lots of Danish scientists and researchers with counter-contributions to explain the Lomborg's arguments.              Weiss clarifies the evaluation of generalists and researchers on scientific uncertainty. Generalists" ideas are based on incomplete information in controversial issues and they are untrained in science. But scientists are trained and their purpose is to abolish the uncertainty to prove his/her hypothesis. They don't want to express any of the assertions to the public before they are proven. But advisors are forced to judge the topics of unsettled science because their judgments are critical for the resolution of a practical problem.              In the account of these ideas, it is realized that Lomborg is a generalist because he is from the department of political science. He is not an expert in environmental issues. He used researchers" ideas in his articles and book. According to Allen Astrup Jensen in "Pesticides: Associate Professor always gets the last word", Lomborg used weak and out-of-date articles of Doll and Peto, world's leading epidemiologists. He says " but this can only be achieved if the foundation on which we base our decisions is solid". He states that with unscientific approach Lomborg would conclude to wrong decisions. .
