They are either maturing quicker than their friends are, or they are maturing slower. Very often, kids do "stupid" things to make themselves look cool. It may even go past that, too. A child may feel so stressed and upset that he does not fit in, that he may commit a horrendous crime. A person learns most of what he ever will as a kid, and these teachings stick with him throughout his life. Until the numbers in school crime ratings have a significant change, uniforms are needed for kids of all ages. When children are taught the correct way to act at a young age, rather than when they enter high school, is when the students are mature enough to disregard uniforms altogether. .
