Although not as complex as the loopholes and unreasonable flaws of National Politics, politicking in the youth circles needs a newer and deeper understanding nowadays. The Sangguniang Kabataan, who is, composed, mostly, of schoolboys and girls with ages ranging from 14-18, is already under questioning forces because of the supposed corruption inside this youth politics circle. And the bottom line is, that if National Politics is getting more complicated and disappointing, what's left of our youth? They, who continue to learn by example from the older people, must be misguided with the traverses of politics already.
Most societal institutions have developed an idealism for governing forces. In the school, there is the Student Body where the general population, elect someone who will act as their leader, their president. And along with the influence of the external exemplary sources of society, we can't help but notice that the Youth Politics is going there. It is too soon for Political Bribery, too soon for tampering of Ballots, too soon for switching, but if the National norms of politicking find their way to the minds of these incorruptible youths, anything is possible. As far as now, most noticeable influences are the lavish spending of campaign materials which is, of course, provided by ever supportive parents of the candidates. There is also the Politics Walls on the side of the candidates, trying to create ways to discredit and spread immorality over their opponents. In many ways, the higher offices in the government also proclaim preference and favoritism over younger politicians who represent the youth, resulting to clashes among the politicians themselves. Politics is said to be dirty and unorganized. Does that include the lower and less-knowledgeable future politicians? Will we wait until these used-to-be incorruptible minds give in to the temptations of present day politics? Is it true that the Youth Politics of today is going on that same route these dirty politicians once tread?.
