Unity in Adversity

Is this a way to live your life? We say no, but that is their way of life. Many of them do not know any better, which is heartbreaking. However, there are Muslims living in our country who were brought up the proper way - to treat others the way they would want to be treated. They did not have any part in what the men from their native country had planned for the United States. They are innocent bystanders just like we are. Many Americans, unfortunately, will point or stare as a Muslim walks by. This is no way for anyone to be treated. Some Muslims even died in the World Trade Center and they are hurting as much as we are. This racism needs to stop. .
Many polls taken about the current presidency of George W. Bush reveal a high percentage of Americans in favor of Bush. Many people from our country did not like Bush when his term first began. Part of that disliking came because of voting controversy. Now, this nation as a whole fully supports Bush in his efforts to put a wounded country back together, and to run the war front. George W. Bush has done a great deal for the families who lost a loved one on September 11, 2001. The federal government is giving each of the families around one million dollars for support. This has brought about another controversy. The families of those lost in the Oklahoma City bombing were very upset with this because when their bombing occurred the federal government did not support them. Needless to say, the government will now also be giving those families money for their losses. .
The federal government is not alone in its attempt to do its best in helping the World Trade Center and Pentagon families. The Red Cross should also receive a gold key for their contributions. They have donated so much, but that does not come without the help from our fellow Americans who played a major role in those contributions. Americans lined up at hospitals the day after the attacks willing to donate some of their blood.
