Huckleberry Finn


Huck didn't like his father because he hits him every time he gets drunk. Huck decided to escape from his father, and planned to get out by making it looked like robbers had come to steal all the goods in the cabin and killed him. Then he climbed into a small boat and rowed away. Later on, Huck hid from rescuers who went down the river looking for his dead body. The whole town knew about the incident and thought that Huck really got killed. .
             Section 2: On his way to escape, Huck meets Jim the boy who is black and who ran away from the house of his owner, the Widow Douglas. Huck and Jim were very good friends. Upon seeing Huck, Jim freaked out because he thought the Jim was dead and had come back as a ghost to haunt him. Later on, Jim realizes that Huck ran away from his abusive father. Jim told Huck over dinner about his plan to free himself and his family, Huck eagerly offered to help. Together, they built a raft and used it to head down the Mississippi River to a free state where Jim could work his way to buy off his wife and kids. .
             Section 3: While rowing down the Mississippi, Huck and Jim helped to con artists from getting caught. The two men were being chased by a group of angry town people who tried to shoot them. Huck and Jim let the two criminals come on the raft and traveled with them. When they reached a safe spot, the group had dinner over a camp fire. The two con artists revealed themselves as Duke and King, they said that they had royal blood in them, and Huck and Jim should serve them and treat them with absolute respect. Huck and Jim did not want any complications, so they agreed to do as the men said. .
             Section 4: The Duke and the King conned a church. Then they decided to use the money to con for a larger amount. So they tried to disguise as close relatives of a dead man in order to inherit his wealth at his funeral. Their swindle was going according to plans when Huck felt guilt gut and ratted them out.
