I propose that we create a government in the image of the kingdom of God. All of the laws and very way of life will be derived from the word of Lord our God as written by his prophets in the sacred pages of the Holy Bible. The National government which will be guided by the omnipotant will of the Lord. The states shall be vassel to the Central Government of God. The government in the form of the Holy Church of America shall wield the power to wage war, to create currency, levy trade, and to interpret and enforce the Holy Law. .
In this glorious kingdom of the Lord All free Men are guaranteed the right to property. As such, all free men are obligated to pay tithes to the Church in addition to taxes, and are required to attend church at least twice a week. Each free man is free to pursue any enterprise or undertaking that is not disfavorable in the eyes of God. A man of indnture is obligated for life to submit to the will of he who owns him. Such men may purchase their freedom both for a price dictated by his master and for a virtuous life of worship for a period of a score of years. Men both free and indentured are required both by law and by God, to raise his family and treat his friends according to the teachings of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. .
The Church is absolute in all matters. Supreme power shall be wielded by a congragation of Bishops led by a privately elected cardinal. God shall rule through this holy congragation and the aforemention congregation shall rule through the individual churches, specifically the reverands and ministers. Any freeborn man shall have the opportunity to become a man of the cloth, and may, through his personal achievements in the name of the Lord may rise in station. .
In untamed wilds of the west, we are duty bound to bring the word of God to the Heathen Natives and to control them as the church sees fit. The church shall claim any land it desires, it shall sell the rest to any free man willing to purchase.
