The Pigman is one of the famous books of Paul Zindel. Pigman is some kind of the funny title but it is explained in the story. Pignati is the main character of the story; the "Pigman" is come from that name. He has a variety of characteristics. He's really innocent, funny and good hearted person. It's showed really clear in the story.
First of all he is an innocent person, John and Lorraine was cheating on him about the L and J fund but he doesn't suspicious about it. He just trusts Lorraine as Mrs. Truman. Even when he saw them in real life, they are just kids but he still trusts them. It shows us that He is a person really easy to trust people. After that he played with them like he was a kid back in the day he was teenager. He's an old person but outside, he is just like a kid play with kids.
Besides, he is a really funny person. When Lorraine calls him, he keep telling jokes even when Lorraine doesn't want to listen to him. For example when Lorraine is talking about the J and L fund, he is telling the jokes about poker. He just keeps telling about the jokes. It also shows us that he is a lonely person because he just wants to tell jokes, lies to makes fun because he doesn't anything interesting in his life. However, he is a really funny man by the way he shows in the story. He is really funny or trying to be funny because he wanted to forget about his dead wife. He wanted to try to live without his wife. He makes jokes, he trying to be funny to give him more confidences to live since he loved his wife so much.
Moreover, he is a good-hearted person. It is shown in the story when Lorraine talked about the funds, Mr. Pigman want to give them 10 dollars right away without any suspicious. It shows that he is a really good hearted person; he wants to help people as much as he can. He plays with Lorraine and John, buy them a lot of stuff without any suspicious. Also he's a really lonely person, as we know BoBo is his best friend which means he doesn't have any "human" friend except for the monkey.
The content of the book may seem somewhat simple. There are not many characters. The end of the book is sad. However, I find that there are many important messages within the book. The story itself presented in The Pigman by Paul Zindel is very interesting and the characters are well developed. ...
Firstly the section that I feel that is least credible is the part where as soon as The Pigman finds out that Bobo had died he just drops dead just like that. ...
