Ok, so i am insulting my own country. So what? bust me for treason but there is no way that you can make me take those words back. The Philippine Government DOES stink. And you can pretend that it doesn't all you want, but you are never going to be able to lie to a million of people and tell them that 'the Philippines is pretty stable'. Oh heck we are ! .
And hear this: most of the Filipino people are rooting for an unqualified actor who has absolutely no experience but is still running for Presidency anyway. Politically incorrect? maybe. Insane? you bet. I'm not sure what is wrong with my people. i'm not sure how it has come to be this way. all im sure of is, if this unqualified actor wins in the upcoming elections, im moving to Italy, where i shall drown myself in Italian spaghetti.
I think that out of all the countries in the world, the Philippines is the worse. we have no self discipline, we have no respect for the government and none of us seem to know how to follow rules. It was on the news yesterday, that a soldier was caught sniffing shabu in a known drug den. How shameful is that? i mean, he's a soldier for crying out loud. he's supposed to be following the rules, not breaking them. As i am writing this i keep hearing this little voice in my head, and its saying 'hypocrite ! hypocrite ! hypocrite!'. I cant really argue with this little voice, because i know that is right. Yes, i do break the rules every now and then (especially school rules), but isn't everyone a hypocrite? and it is only through hypocracy that people realize their evil ways and try to change. Don't you think?.
And though there is no doubt (and i shall never deny it) that i hate my country, i will still do all i can to try and save it. because no matter how much i critisize, no matter how much i hate, i can never change the fact that this is my home. and this place means the world to me. .
