If you could spend a day with anyone, who would it be and how would you spend your time?.
There are many influential men and women that have altered our human existence. There are various prominent individuals around the world and throughout history that if one were to meet them it would serve as a fathomless experience. I have a strong emphasis on family and because of this my decision would be aided on this emphasis. I would want to meet my paternal grandfather, whom kicked the bucket (may he rest in peace), in attempt to answer any mysteries of him. I do not feel as though my childhood was ruined by not having him in my life but at times I have felt deprived of ever knowing him. I have heard very little of him from family members and they all speck well of him yet my father rarely speaks of him. I would want to answer why my father knows very little of him or speaks very little of him. It feels as though they keep him a mystery to my other siblings and myself. Therefore I would like to spend a day assessing him. .
I"ll start of telling you what I know of him, which is basically not much at all. He and the rest of my family are from Guatemala. I always hear various stories from people and they all describe him as a man that was well respected from where he came from. He owned a lot of land throughout Guatemala, which he made into different types of plantations and he became very wealthy this way. They describe him as physically resembling my younger brother. He was said to be this enormous gigantic-like man, tan, with dark hair, with coarse facial features. Although the people he knew held him in a high pedestal, this did not go to his head because he was still a kind and considerate man. .
My father rarely mentions to us what he knows of him. What he does tell us is that he left my grandmother, father, and his sister when they were both young. My dad says that although he left his family, he was a "man" about it.
