Values are an important thing to have in life. Your personal values show people what you believe are important in your life. I have many values which I consider essential to my everyday life. Those values are self-respect, happiness, and honesty. In my point of view, if you don't have those values then life wouldn't be as it should be. I can relate those values to my everyday life. .
Self-respect is very important in my life. You have to believe in yourself and accept yourself anyway that you are, no matter how over-weight, not as attractive, or any thing else you don't like about yourself. Because what's on the inside is what matters. If you don't self-respect for yourself then you would always be looking down on yourself, never liking anything that you wore, and you would be a very shy person. You wouldn't consider yourself good enough to talk to people. If there's one thing you should have in life, self-respect should defiantly be one of them. You should always have more respect for yourself then for anyone else. .
Happiness is also something you should defiantly have in life. When you are happy in life, your day seems worry free. Even if you don't like to go to school or work, you should be able to find something your good at or something you like about that place and enjoy it. You cant always be grumpy and mean when you don't like what your doing or where you are. Life can end tomorrow so you have to live life to the fullest every single, normal day, and don't take anything for granted. You have to learn that without happiness there is nothing to life for. A pet you have, a girl/boyfriend, and most importantly your family will make you happy. .
Honesty is my last value that I have and consider very important to my life. You cannot go through life lying at every chance you get or when you do something wrong and you lie to get yourself out of it. You may think you hid the truth but one way or another the truth will come and bite you in your rear end.
