We all have numerous characteristics that define our personalities, but when we go beyond and search deeper into the depths of our souls we find distinctive traits that one could consider our greatest strength. When I began to search for my greatest strength I found that leadership kept reoccurring throughout my life. I am involved in an abundant amount of activities.
I am employed at two part time jobs while enrolled as a fulltime student. I am always willing to answer or help with anything extra that needs to be done. I have stayed late to finish tasks even when others leave, and I complete any responsibilities that have to be done with out being asked. I also involved in several school leadership positions: Section leader in Instrumental Music, President of National Honor Society, and volunteer tutor in the special needs and learning disabilities in the Middle School. I also have been a secretary helper for our youth Pastor once a week. I was a VBS leader for the Chicago Missions Trip 2003. I taught the kids a Bible Story and Verse. The involvement in these activities only shows a minuscule amount of one's personality. .
I take great pride in knowing that people can approach me in times of need because they know I will be able to help them in ways that others can not. I believe this strong sense of self comes from living a life where I had to be a leader, and taking the initiative in order to survive. .
My involvement in vast organizations requires time management skills, Organization skills, and the ability to rate tasks on a hierarchy in order to decide what does and does not need to be done. This Strength inevitably leads to my weakness "my broad interest base. I get involved in so many things because I can not say no. When I am asked to help with an activity I almost always say yes; however, I have been working on my boundaries and saying no, so that I may have more time to myself.
