There are hundreds of people traveling in the subways and rushing to their work or school or home or even shopping everyday. It almost seems as if they are about catching the fleeing time which always appear to be slithering out of their hands. They almost need a complete evolution in their time management skills. There is no mystery about managing time. Everyone has 24 hours each day and 168 hours each week to eat, sleep, work, relax, exercise, attend class, and study. It does not take magic to get the most of these hours; it just takes planning. Time management does require self-discipline and control until the behavioral changes are internalized and time management becomes an everyday habit. Plans and schedules for managing time are useless if one does not follow them. .
I would not consider myself the most successful person at managing time, but I could say that I am satisfied with who I am and what I am capable of. All I can say is that my time management skills give me the go-ahead to do what I am able to do. Time management skills are essential for success in life. To begin managing time we first need a clearer idea of how to use the time. Keeping a track on the activities for a week would give a more accurate estimate of how to spend the time. It will also help identifying time wasters. Once we know how to use the time, it is extremely important to keep daily schedules; it helps prioritizing time. These are partial techniques that have helped the leaders in business, sports and public service, succeed in their careers. People who use these techniques routinely are the highest achievers in all walks of life. If these skills are used well, one can be able to function effectively under intense pressure. As far as I am concerned, time management has helped me get the most out of the limited time I have, for school and leisure activities. As usual, I wake up at six in the morning and prepare myself for school.
