Easily the most memorable moment, that had a large impact on the rest of my life is my first laying eyes on that grand ol" Atari 5600 of my fathers. Since my first trys at Pitfall, Donkey Kong, PacMan, and novelty attempts at Kool-Aid Man and Journey, my life has been riddled with video games. Draining massive funds from my pockets, and hours from my clock. All is well worth it, however. I've never had reason to regret immersing myself in another fantasy world away from the one which we live. It brings a sense of well-being and calm. My wholehearted belief is that without video games, the existence and population of dreamers with big ideas would become extinct. .
Since I vaulted good old Atari, I've upgraded and collected video game systems and games from time periods from the beginings-new age generation consoles. .
Console games also branched me off into PC gaming, which lead to my programming and webwriting interests. Which is simply what brings me here today, in Computer Class, writing this rather pointless-seeming literary work. Not to mention I would like to continue the rest of my life working with and around video games, or computers. I"d say that Atari made a nice impression upon me, wouldn't you think?.
In closing I"d like to bring out I believe that video games are quite the educational and skill-honing pieces of ingenious work. Anyone bestowed with good gaming ability will surely go far in their life endeavors. I hope the case is true for myself.
