Murder, a crime, which is unforgivable, happens more than society would like. It is dealt with harshly and can be punishable by death in some states. Life is precious and valuable yet, when a person is convicted of 1st degree murder, they too can be sentenced to death. Killing, which includes capital punishment is lawful in various states in the US yet; I feel it is a ghastly and barbaric punishment that should be removed from the United States. .
Life is delicate; it can be ended by accidents, addictions, disease or even old age. Life is short enough as it is that a human body can only take some quantities of abuse. Life is taken with caution for example a teenager in the state of New Jersey begins to drive at seventeen. This is because if a teenager is given a license to young an accident could occur and an outcome could be grave. When abused life is healed. For all of the problems that could end life there is an alternate way to try and correct those problems. For example, when a person has a disease like cancer or AIDS they receive treatment from a medical facility to be healed. When a person has an addiction like heroin or cocaine they then are sent to a rehab center to try and correct their addiction. Life is valuable and no matter what the situation may be, a person's life should be treated gingerly. When a person does the act of killing they take away the gift of life from someone. This gift cannot be returned. Once you die there is no coming back. Although, murdering someone is terrible and ludicrous an "eye for an eye" is not the answer. .
Murder is horrible. The act of killing alone makes my stomach turn. How can a person single handedly take the life of another? Though emotions like anger, hate or jealously take control of us murdering is not the solution. Even though some murders are planned out thoroughly was the murderer thinking with clarity while arranging these plans? I pity those who kill others.
