Was September 11, 2001 a pleasant day? For most of the world, it was a terrible day, but for Saddam and the other terrorist organizations that had part in the day it was triumphant. They had defied the all-powerful United States of America, but they did not think of the consequences of there hindering attack on the US. President Bush declared after the terrorist attack "Justice demands that those who helped or harbored the terrorists be punished, and punished severely. The enormity of their evil demands it. We will use all resources of the United States and our cooperating friends and allies to pursue those responsible for this evil, until justice is done." (President Bush). This means anyone, not a small attendance of people, but any single person who helped or harbored terrorists. If that means the heartless leader of Iraq, then that is whom we have to go after. For those who ask what Saddam has done to us, I ask what the 9/11 terrorists did to us before September 11? History has shown that those who do not learn from their mistakes are condemned to repeat it. If we do not learn and react to the blunt attack directly designed to hinder and show incompetence of the US, then there would be more of these situations in the future. .
