They must show respect to their co-hosts, audience, and contestants. Part of the big success of Eat Bulaga is due to the spontaneity and creativity of its hosts Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon who are part of the wildly successful triumvirate Tito, Vic, and Joey. On the other hand, MTB's hosts are young, bouncy, and energetic. But even though MTB has hosts who are juvenile and lively, I sense their lack of oneness or "being a family". One example is the Amy-Roderick and William dispute which until now has not been settled even after Willy was sacked from the show almost two years ago. This kind of situation may really affect the other hosts" performance, which may in turn affect the audience point of view and feelings towards the show, which consequently, may affect the show's ratings. Although at times we can see the hosts of each show tease their co-hosts, Eat Bulaga hosts never come to a point where they step on the individuality and dignity of the people around them. They still have respect and recognition for one another. In MTB, they would sometimes push through their limits when it comes to teasing each other (like nangbabatok, nanunulak, etc.).
The game portions and segments contribute a lot to the popularity and success of a show. They have to be original, wholesome, fun, and exciting. And it is probably for this reason that MTB continues to lag behind Eat Bulaga. Originality is a big factor in a show's success and this is what MTB is missing out on.
For instance, when Eat Bulaga's "Little Miss Philippines" became a hit, Channel 2 came up with "Munting Miss U." When Eat Bulaga mounted "She's Got the Look", Channel 2 put up "Calendar Girl"; "That's My Boy" ("Is That My Boy?"); "Maid in the Philippines" ("Maid na Made"); "Tsuper Star" ("Tsuper Star"). "Super Sireyna" ("Flawless de Mayo" and "Queen of the World"); "Humanap Ka ng Pang-Eat" ("Gag-Gong Show"); "Birit Baby" ("Bulilit Star Search"); "Sing-Eat" ("Sing It"); "Acting Gulo" ("Hula Bira"); "Bulagaan Olympics" ("Todo Na "To"); "Sige Ano Kaya Mo? SAK Mo!" ("Oo, Kaya Ko!").
