Could you imagine waking up in Iraq under the rule of Sadamn? I could not even conceive of the idea and this is why I must conclude that yes, government is necessary in every society. Government is one of humanity's oldest and most important institutions. From earliest times, some kind of government has been around every society. Governments provide guidance, help and safety to everybody. Don't you think most of the world be a different place with a little of this?.
The Government has the power to solve countires most difficult deicions and fix there problems. Without this helpful guidance we would go around in circles arguing and never agree on anything. They also have authority which is legitimate power. Because of this the government is able to resolve conflicts by making and enforcing laws, putting laws on what people can and can not do and to make the final decision.
Governments also provide public services which is very helpful. This is something people on there own couldn't carry out. Such as building, maintaining roads, providing welfare, public schools and preserving national parks. With this they also provide good services as fire protection, law enforcement, public health, and safety programs.
Protection is a great worry to countires and the government ensures safety. They keep a defense up for us and also security. This part of the government is based upon the Army Navy Air force Marines and the Coast guard. The state department defense department CIA and others like this contribute to this defense network. We also have power over some foreign states and they cant negotiate a treaty with a foreign nation.
Everyone feels differently about the governments role. I am almost positive that if you stuck the opposing in a communist country they will all of a sudden have a change of heart. This only goes on to prove why I feel that the government is a must in every country. They contribute so much and make life a little easier for everybody.
