It was a wonderfully cold November day the last weekend before thanksgiving. I was quiet happy because I got to my colleges football game with all of my two best friends. I had never been to a College football game before and was very excited to see what it is like. Upon arriving at the game my friends Steve and John picked a seat for us in the Grand Stands at the very top so they could see the whole field with a unobstructed view. The first half of the game was uneventful and very boring as it was a Jr. College football game and neither team seemed to have much talent.
At the conclusion of half-time I suddenly had a sharp pain in my side. In the matter of just a few minutes the pain progressed to the sharpest pain I have ever felt in my life. I was sitting in the stands hunched up in a ball when I told my friends of my problem. They said that I should go to a hospital because Steve an EMT by trade said that it might be my appendix. I was in too much pain to even move so my friends picked me up and carried me out of the stadium.
Unfortunately I had driven my friends to the game in my new car that I had just bought new a week before. Upon reaching the stadium gates John offered to bring up my car from the outer most reaches of the parking lot as to prevent my having to be carried out there to the car. Knowing my best friend well and his history of accidents I suggested that Steve drive. Steve was also not nearly as inebriated as John was. After resolving the driving dilemma my friends quickly put me in the car and took me to the Hospital. .
During the ride there which seemed to be eternally long my condition worsened. I passed out from the pain in my side several times and proceeded to give the floor board of the car a new stain and odor. Upon arriving at the hospital John went in to tell the hospital staff the situation. A nurse came out to the car and put me in a wheel chair and took me inside.
