Macbeth


            Macbeth initially appears to be a brave warrior. After his meeting with the witches he is unable to get the prophesy out of his mind that he will one day be king. He is more of a weak person than Lady Macbeth. When Lady Macbeth plants the idea in his head to murder Duncan he is torn between his ambition and his conscience. .
             After listening to his wife's persuasion he decides to go and kill Duncan. Lady Macbeth is able to make him feel unmanly if he can't commit the murder. After killing Duncan he gets used to killing .It is like he can't turn back now.
             Once his is made king he begins to remember the second prophesy that Banquo's sons will one day become kings. He feels his throne threatened. He knows that he must have Banquo killed. After Banquo is killed, his guilt causes him to begin to hallucinate and see Banquo's ghost in the empty chair. People in the kingdom begin to see him as unstable.
             Macbeth will not let anyone stand in his way of his throne. He plots to have .
             Macduff's wife and son killed. This killing was not even to protect his kingship or to silence anyone. Macbeth's main flaw is his ambition and self-serving interests. He becomes a tyrant killing anyone in his way. .
             When Macduff and his army come to fight Macbeth in the end he vows to go down fighting. He is killed and beheaded by Macduff. He wasn't a successful king because he was only interested in his own power. He was unlike Duncan who was well loved because he truly loved his kingdom. .
