Pivotal Person

October 7th 2003 he saw me applying for a job at Best Buy, that was the day we first met. The next night we went on a date, and soon after that, we fell in love. His full name is Ryan Scott W., and he was born on March the 6th, 1985. He is the most pivotal, "being of crucial importance"(Morris 1000), person in my life because he has given me so many important things such as determination, love, and faith. Determination is a key asset for any one to be successful. As of January 11th, he has been stationed in .
Lackland Air Force base for basic training. Until the day he left he trained every day with no one forcing him to do anything. His first week into basic training he was assigned to be one of the four element leaders out of the fifty-two people in his flight. He taught me how to set goals and never give up on them no matter what. All of his hard work he did before he left and his determination are the only things keeping him going.
Love is also one of the many things he has taught me. Even though we have not known each other that long, Ryan made me realize that love is not measured by time it is a feeling that you have and he has given that feeling to me. His eyes always showed his attentiveness to whatever we were talking about. His hands were nothing short of gentle and loving. His smile could light up a room, and he could fill it with laughter. He has shown me what it means to say you will do anything for someone and actually mean it. "Absences makes the heart grow fonder," is a quote that is so true. Now that Ryan is gone, we look forward to the little things that we used to take for granite. Its been really hard being without him, but my knowing that sticking it out will only reward me in the end is so much better.
My faith is such an important thing to me now, but a couple months ago there was always doubts in my mind as to whether or not there was a God. Ryan grew up in the Christian atmosphere, but my family has always been the busy type, and we never had time to go to church and learn about God and his love for us.
