How does light affect the rate of photosynthesis

Furthermore, I predict that if the light intensity increases, the rate of photosynthesis will increase at a proportional rate until a certain level is reached. Eventually, a maximum level will be reached where an increase in light intensity will have no further effect on the rate of photosynthesis, as there will be another limiting factor that limits the rate, in this case probably temperature.
             Variables: .
             Independant:.
light intensity is to be varied by increasing and decreasing the distance from the light source to the plant weed. For each trial, the light intensity will be increased by 10 lux, so that in this way we can find out if the light intensity affects the rate of photosynthesis and oxygen produced.
             Dependent:.
The amount of oxygen produced. We need to measure how much oxygen is produced to find out if the rate of photosynthesis increases or decreases as the light intensity changes. If there production of oxygen decreases it means that the rate of photosynthesis is decreasing as well. .
             Controlled:.
During the experiment I will keep a constant temperature at 25 ∘C. The amount of sodium hydrogen carbonate (NaHCO3) will be kept constant at 1%. The amount of time within each of the trials is for 10 minutes. The light intensity will always be increased by 10 lux to make it a fair test.
             Equipment:.
             - Focus educational software program.
             - PC.
             Method:.
             1. Go to the focus educational software program.
             2. Once you are there, place the temperature at 25 ∘C.
             3. Place the amount of NaHCO3 at 1%.
             4. Drag the lamp with the light bulb which is the symbol for light intensity and place it at 10 lux.
             5. Click on the start button and wait until this process finishes. It should last like about 8 seconds, however the real time is ten minutes. .
             6. Once this process finishes, click on the syringe and drag it backwards. A white rectangle will be produced in the tube, this tells the amount of oxygen produced. In order to find out how much oxygen there is look at the white rectangle and record two numbers, one where the white rectangle starts and the other number where the white rectangle finishes.
