Science, no matter how natural it may seem to some is man made. I believe this because science is only a compilation of temporal answers to transcendent questions. Science will never provide an end to spiritual searching, never will it answer questions that rise out of our souls. To me it is a method of explanation that requires only physical knowledge, not spiritual awareness. A removed breakdown of all that is around us. A weight on the mind and a cover on the soul that leads down a path of belief that never even leaves the ground. It is the total opposite of religion. Because of this I feel science at odds with religion. Since science is a way of answering questions with facts, usually in the absence of GOD, it has an atheistic nature that exhibits the mind while inhibiting the soul.
Science has little concern with the abstract value of something or its possible abstract origin or purpose, but science doesn't daydream. It is forever bound to the world by its very nature. Science has rhyme and usually reason; given sufficient background on the part of the studier, the path its leads down is straight and easy to follow. Science explains things by leading you by the hand down streets of research and findings to a neat, well organized conclusion. This destination does its part however large or small, to leave one more thing explained. In this way it offers concrete solutions to problems with little room for interpretation. It can tell you where it thinks we came from but will never tell you absolutely It can tell you how it thinks we started but can't tell you definitely, and can't tell you why. It can't give concrete answers to some questions, the questions of existence. These very things are the bane of science, questions that seem without answers or answers without concrete evidence. This is where the informative stroll through the well-lit streets of science turns into a frenzied search through back alleys and gutters.
