The Effects Multinational Companies Can Have on the United States.
There are many major multinational companies that are located in third world countries, because they know that there, they can find workers that will work for much cheaper than they would in a first world country such as the United States. Not only does this exploit the people of the third world country, it also exploits those of the first world country.
When companies move to a third world country, many people in the first world country are left jobless. Either they were let go from a job they had previously held, or simply there are not enough jobs available to the working class people because these job availabilities have located to a different country. This results in more unemployed people, more poverty, and an overall weaker economy.
Also, while these companies are thriving financially, the middle class people of the first world country, who are essentially the "engine of the economy" are becoming impoverished. These people inevitably will not stay quiet. Masses of people will protest against these immoral companies, resulting in a disturbance of the peace and mass chaos.
While the companies capitalize on the misery of those in the third world countries, they are inevitably bringing their own developed nations down to that level as well. These companies cleverly evade taxes, resulting in more tax burdens to the middle class and other working people in the first world country. .
Basically, it all comes back to the companies flourishing, while the working people struggle financially and are weighed down by the burdens caused unto them by the multinational companies" greed. The majority of the people become impoverished, while the few at the top in the big companies hoard in all the money.
