• Learn to respect each other's in opinion, religion, and social status.
If someone has a different opinion, he or she has to be respect even though the other person disagrees with the other. .
Nowadays there are a lot of different religions, each one of them has their own rules, believes and traditions. If someone doesn't eat pork for example, you can't obligate them to do so. If they don't celebrate Christmas and their birthday, you cannot obligate them. .
In one department only you can have different social status's. Like, Person .
"A" is an employee of the scale 7 with a monthly salary of +/- Nafl. 3000, and person "B" working of a scale 11 with a monthly income of +/- Nafl. 7000. Not because person "B" has a larger salary he or she has to treat person "A" differently. We are all the same human beings living on planet earth.
• Organizing happy hours on Fridays with the whole department.
This enables the people to socialize with each other, to get to know their colleagues in a different way. This isn't necessary to organize every week but every two weeks or every end of the month. .
• Organize cleaning up days.
The employees will feel better doing something for their community, cleaning the neighborhood, giving away food or painting houses for the elderly and poor. This is also a way to let the employees spend some fun time together and it will improve the friendship between them.
• Celebrate carnival, Christmas and Flag day in a special way.
Carnival: Decoration of the place with focus on a specific theme each year. For example, The Jungle; Decorate the whole department/ floor with Coconut palm branches and camouflage stuff. Everyone dressed on Fridays in casual or even jungle dress.
Christmas: Decoration with Christmas trees, gifts, Christmas stuff, Christmas dinner with the whole department.
Flag day: Decorate with flags.
