Chilling In the Bronx

.
That night he planned on how he was to change his image, his hair and his style in general. He went to the mall with Tyrone, Phil, Latoya, and Mercedes. The next day he showed up late for geography class, and started banging on the door. Mr. Lambert went to open the door and the whole class turned. As he opened the door, there stood a tall, decent looking guy who was actually starting to mix in with all the other gangsters. Tyrone and Phil were impressed with the work they had done in changing Max's image COMPLETELY! Max walked the walk, talked the talk, and looked like a brand new person. He strutted his way back to his seat and got all the looks of amazement from his peers. .

After school Max walked outside and saw Tyrone secretly handing some strange guy a package. He then saw this strange guy giving Tyrone money. He wondered what was going on, but decided to ignore it and just walk over to Tyrone once the stranger had gone. A few minutes passed, and Max decided to go over to Tyrone. .
"Hey brother, what's happening?" asked Tyrone. .
"Umm nothing really, how about you Tyrone?" replied Max.
"So listen Max, there is a bunch of us who are going out tonight, we going to chill in the Bronx, you going to come or what?!" Max said that he would come with them, but deep inside he knew that this new crowd he was hanging out with was up to no good. He was also worried that he wasn't going to finish Mr. Lambert's geography assignment in time. The evening came fast. Tyrone, Phil, Latoya, and Mercedes went to Max's house. As they were walking to the hang out joint, Tyrone pulled out a dime bag. Max didn't know what he had pulled out, until he saw the green, plant like substance inside. Tyrone rolled up some marijuana, and offered Max some. Max said no, he didn't smoke. Phil took the marijuana and Latoya and Mercedes had a few puffs. Before Max's family moved to the Bronx, he had promised himself that he was never going to get into drugs, and drinking.
