On a cold, rainy, afternoon, a teenage girl wanders towards the back section of an enchanting, but familiar wonderland. As she slowly approaches this haven, she is overwhelmed by the assortment of colors, pictures and exotic symbols that lay before her. From topics on health, beauty, cars, hair, music, sports, and video games to topics of entertainment, lifestyles, computers, and foreign travel destinations, she becomes unsure of what topic interests her the most. .
The magazine industry has become a billion dollar corporation within the last 60 years. Magazine publishers have found new and exciting ways to take our everyday knowledge and format it back to us with supplements that stimulate one, if not all of our senses. Along with the research that I have collected, I will prove that there are many different aspects that contribute to magazine production. Some of these topics may include: cultural influences, as well as careers associated within this dominating universe. When you think of the word culture, what comes to mind? Is it the way you talk, the way you dress, the actions that go on in you house on daily basis?
