I was told that football was too dangerous; there was a possibility that I could suffer a fatal injury. Who wishes for their teenager to be crippled for life?.

However, for every person that claims baseball as America's past time, another states that poker is unethical. The truth of the matter is that more people play poker than baseball, but more people watch baseball than play poker. Which seems more interesting, watching a sport or playing? .
Poker rewards it's participants for being patient and making the correct decisions, yet some consider poker unethical. I believe that patience is a virtue, and making correct decisions is a key to living a successful, morally sound life. .

I do regret losing $300 at a time while playing poker online, but I accept that. Poker has taught me to accept circumstances as they rise, and play the cards I"m dealt. Poker has also taught me that you can't win if you never play. Effort is a prerequisite for being successful. The bottom line is that you only live once, and if you never take a chance, then you may end up dieing with a lot of regrets.
