Everyone has experience at least one time that he/she was an outsider in a group whether willfully or not. People usually say "the outsider" to person who has different things. The outsider means that someone can't join a group or doesn't want to join the group that have same personality, hobbies, and common feature. The outsider wants to or doesn't want to always stay alone. I read an "I want a wife" of Judy Brady. This literary work is very similar to the outsider of my definition with my experience such as being made the outsider by people around. .
As this literary work, author's male friend fined a new wife who just stays at home and takes care of children, and this man thought that this wife who he would find woman lives the best way. However, the wife or someone's mother who he would find woman is not happy because she is the outsider at society group. Her work place is at home that takes care of children and husband, clean the house, and wash clothes etc, so she can't get much information for society. Then, she, the outsider, can't join a society group anymore because she didn't have any information about society news. This outsider is that doesn't chose by herself. Mother or wife has been the outsider because she was been shunned from the society as doing a lot of house work. However, mother or wife can break from the outsider if she experts herself. Follow this article, man wants a wife who does work just at home, but mother or wife is changing to break from outsider of society group as people are changing their consciousness. She, breaks from the outsider, does care of her house and goes work outside like superwoman. .
I have very similar experience with that story. I also experience outsider that isn't willfully. I am an international student who came in the United States at two years ago. In my country, Korea, someone who speaks English well can get a good job because my country has many job including export because of Korea has a kind of small country.
