"It's a nice day for it. Like to be on the river myself, but got work to do on the boat before I go cruising this next week," Robert quickly walked towards the door. As he passed by the end table John watched Robert's hand nudge their bee kit just enough to make it drop on the floor. .
.
John reached down to retrieve the kit, but Robert moved faster. He picked up the box, and glancing at it, slid it back onto the table. "Thanks," John said in a voice that was heavily irritated. "Catch you later," Robert said as they left the house together. He continued toward his condo as John and Mary headed towards the river. Mary talked as they strolled along the river path and John replied to her, but his thoughts drifted elsewhere. He had married Mary just two years ago, not long after her husband, Richard, died from a massive heart attack. Luckily Rick carried large insurance policies on himself as well as Mary. A winning trader in the stock market, he worked under a lot of pressure. So did anyone who worked for him. .
After just five years of working for Rick, John had an unsuspected stroke and underwent rehabilitation himself. Yet, as things turned out, he had gotten Rick's wife and his portfolio that she inherited. Unfortunately Rick's touch in the stock market did not pass to John as well. John was now facing certain decisions on what to do with the stocks, and had a deadline coming up. If the deadline was not met the company would wipe out their portfolio. The solution was simple. Mary's insurance policy would cover all this, so he developed a plan. A long silence passed, and Mary spurted out "Look! There's Robert's boat,"and she had broken her husband's thoughts. Pointing to a cabin cruiser tied up in the marina, she said, "Wouldn't it be fun to go cruising?" .
He gave Mary a weird glance. "Oh, yes," he said trying to sound interested. A plan began to form in his mind, though. "Yes, indeed," he repeated.
