             This film is about a hypersensitive young girl, who perceives her family milieu as too narrow and feels restricted. Her world consists particularly of her father and her little sister Phoebe, whom she adores. When she looses her beloved father because of leukaemia, she decides to leave her small world together with her boyfriend Wolf. .
             Her encounters with various young groups in Amsterdam, Paris and later in Berlin end dramatically. During a terror attack on a public building in Berlin she kills the father of 2 daughters. Unable to overcome this tragic accident she commits suicide. .
             Many years later her small sister Phoebe turning 18 leaves her home to follow the footsteps of her sister - retracing each dramatic episode in her life to put the puzzle of her disappearance together and to understand her death. .

             After her own journeys in the footsteps of her sister she comes to the brilliant conclusion that her sister had been egoistic leaving herself and her mother behind. This realization give Phoebe finally peace and allows her to move back to her mother. .
