A night to Remember

We were still friends but nothing like what I wanted. Well as sophomore year came I happen to get a class with Vanessa. The class was perfect it was Speech and there was always time to socialize in the class. So Vanessa and me did just that we socialized whenever we got the chance. The more we got to know each other the more we felt me might have something between us . So I decided to see if it was really something more than a friendship so the day I got my car I drove It to her house to show her. Well that night when I showed her that car I told her to come sit in the passenger seat and with the CD player playing a song called "Passenger Seat" by Steven Speaks I asked her out on a date. To my surprise she did not hesitate to say yes and that was the start to a whole new set of worries and nervousness.
The day came, the one day I had been looking forward to since I met Vanessa. I woke up that day around 9 due to the excitement I had looking forward to that night. That day was planed out in my head days before. And the first thing on the list to do was to go wash the car. Vanessa was the girl that I felt deserved to be treated like a princess and washing my car would only help me make her feel that way. After washing the car I went home and waited and waited. That day went on forever it seemed like it would never reach seven o"clock. Finally, at six forty five I got in my car dressed all nice and drove over to her house getting there by six fifty five. The butterflies were flying in me but this time and that walk to the door almost killed me but with the nervous finger I rang the doorbell. The door opened and there stood Vanessa's dad , with a gentlemen's voice I proceeded to introduce myself. Her dad was extremely nice and very polite to me. He invited me in and I followed him and sat down on the coach and waited for my princess to come down from her room. As Her dad and me sat there he asked me all those parental questions that every boy dreads.
