I was taught by my parents and my church that God created all things. In School, I was taught science's view on how everything was created. Both science and God explain how we came to be and how every thing was made. But, science and God's views on creation are very much different. So I ask the question is there God or is there science?.
God is an almighty being who made everything there is. He made the plants, the air, the ground, and the universe. This is the answer that most Christians would give you if asked who made the Earth. God is a great figure who is explained in the New and Old Testament. These writings explain everything there is to know about God.
The Bible, the New and Old Testament, tell most of the stories about our creation. The story starts out with there being just God and nothing else. He then proceed to make the universe, the Earth, and everything else in a period of seven days. He created the Garden of Eden and the first humans, Adam and Eve.
For a long time skeptics have said that there is no proof that theses writing are truthful and that they weren't just written by some madman in a cave somewhere. But today, we are finding more and more evidence that some the things said in the Bible did happen, but that most parts have little or no evidence to back them up. These parts are held true by faith.
Science has a different way of seeing how everything was created. Science has several different theories to explain everything; from the creation of the universe to how humans came to be inexistence. These theories can be put together to explain our creation. For the most part these theories are accepted by most people. It is also agreed upon that all of science are can be traced to one event, the big bang.
The big bang happened a long, long time ago, like 15 billion years. The theory is that basically all matter and energy were stored in some super condense object that one day exploded.
