In the 1800's when Napolean and his men invaded Egypt, his men would get very intoxicated off of marijuana. Egypt saw this and they ban anything that had to do with hashish, the resin part at the top of the bud on a marijuana plant. Egypt said that people under the influence of hashish would lose their sense of reason and become victims of violent delirium, or become addicted to it. Although, it is not physically possible to get addicted to marijuana, it does have other harmful affects related to the body, such as its toxic make up and relation to disease, its mental affect, its relation with psychosis and physical affects.
