Making a killing in the modern society of today are not the big business tycoons of today, but the one elite force is the American military that sacrifices life on a need to know basis. This group of enlisted men have one thing up their sleeves that their enemies cannot see or hear, but will know what is there when one of their men dies. This dark and highly misunderstood killer from afar is a marine sniper, equipped with the latest technology that can be made, sent out on search and distroy missions, and trained to be a one shoot killing machine.
Being equipped with the latest equipment is key to the sniper's function in the military. Without it, there would be no purpose for long range shooting. Since being a sniper involves using the element of surprise, good concealment is mandatory. Making a well placed shoot on an enemy, the shooter must be within a certain distance from their target. Issued to all soldiers in the millitary is a Uniform. Otherwise know as a BDU. It is a sniper's job to turn this article of clothing into a stealth cloaking devise. While in achieving this, the sniper sews a mesh net onto his uniform. From this mesh net, burlap strips are attached. These burlap strips help in breaking up the soldier's profile while he is hidden. The strips are also coordinated with the environment the soldier would be opperating. While in an arctic climate, with snow on the ground, the burlap would be white with small shreds of black. Surrounding nature is also involved in this art of hidden killers. While stalking through a wheat field the sniper may incorporate tufts of wheat into his suit. This furthers the camouflaging effect. In fact this type of camouflage works so well that one could walk within feet of a sniper laying in the prone position and have no idea they where there. Although camouflage is not the main piece of equipment used, the rifle would have to be.
