Sigmond Freud

Sigmund Freud is a world renown psychologist who put forth theories which we still look into today. His theories covered many aspects of the human beings, each analyzing a different part of a human life. His theory includes things such as God, dreams, psycho analysis, libido, id, ego, superego, hearing cap, stimulus response, and sublimation. All of these theories do have truth and are pretty accurate but each of them are missing certain portions deeming them to be false or somewhat incorrect. .
Freud believed that all of our actions were chosen subconsciously by our unconscious and then put forth into action. This was the theory that Freud firmly believed. Along with these beliefs Freud discovered psychoanalysis, an important discovery in the world of psychology. As Freud did more and more work on his theories and came up with the ideas on the subjects which I had previously stated (id, dreams, hearing caps) he based much of his information on that fact that humans were sex driven. Because Freud has such a close-minded way of thinking, many of his theories had flaws in them, or left certain things out. Starting with the hearing cap for example. Freud describes the hearing cap in its" entirety yet he forgets to leave space for one important thing, truth. Freud does not give any room for the distinction between truth and falsity and he also doesn't give any room for the existence of being. In the case of ego no conscious of self is able to be described. For God, Freud believes that he is nothing more than just an overblown image of a father figure. To most people, God is much more than that and in Freud's description he does not mention that at all. Freud's description of dreams is that all of them are sex related. He believes that everything that you dream of, in some way or another, is nothing more than a sexual thought. This is untrue for the most part. Most people dream of what is on their mind at that specific time and in most cases it is not related to sex.
