This was the one night I had been waiting for all my life, the chance to see the greatest band in the world Nightwish, they were playing at rod laver arena tonight and this was a concert I wasn't going to miss because my parents disapproved of "heavy metal". They are just stupid old tightarsess who believe heavy metal is satanic, rotting my mind and making me angry and full of rage, ha what would they know they never even listened to it before. They want me to be some kind of responsible computer nerd, not me though man, I"m a metal head, a care free, long haired rocker lover of heavy metal, that's me. They banned me from going to heavy metal concerts, I already missed 3 great bands this year because of them but not tonight, not Nightwish. I told them I was going to my mate, Josh, house. I didn't ask or even tell my parent about the concert, I just said I was going to his house to study haha, stupid parents. I walked down the road feeling free as a bird as I walked down to Joshes house.
I got there and knocked on the door, his sister, Alahna answered "hey Dave" she said as she let me in "do you still want me to cover for you tonight?" "Yeah thanks" I replied, she laughed, "I tell them your in the shower or something". Josh didn't live with his parents, it was just him and his sister cause his parents were off traveling Australia. Josh came out of his room and asked if I was ready, " yeah we going now" "yes, we will beat the traffic and get a good spot at the front if we go now". Josh was driving, he had turned 18 only 1 month ago, but he was a good driver and I trusted him.
