I am investigating the comparison between the American Legal System and the British Legal System. The American government is a democratic government. The British government is a monarchy. Democratic basically means of the people, for the people, by the people. The leader for the democratic Legal System is the attorney general. Laws can be rewritten, ignored, or dropped depending on how the people feel. Laws are passed to take care of our conditions. Courts, judges, and juries take care of punishments for the people who go against, disobey, or break the laws. In the past ten years there has been an increase in violent crimes from ages 13 - 16. .
