A heart to heart about freshman year

Since we are discussing about clean clothes, you should never wear new clothes to classes. This might sound a little strange, and it IS strange. This is just another one of those rules concocted by upperclassmen trying to scare the newcomers. So wear your new clothes if you feel like it. This is college, we"re supposes to be adults, not fashion police. I have to admit that at times I have just rolled out of bed and gone to class, with my books in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. Another one of these so-called rules is that you should not walk around looking at the buildings trying to find your classes. This seems to me to be one of the silliest rules of them all. How else do people expect you to find your classes. I know most of my fellow student body does not look at the names of the buildings. Granted, if your campus has only one building, staring at every side of it searching for the name could probably make you look silly. However, if the college you attend is Baylor University, it has at least a dozen buildings, you will only be one of the few thousand freshman who are also a bit lost. So, now that you know its okay to try to find your classes, there are a few things you need to know about what goes on once your in them.
One of the most stressful things about finally reaching a class is wondering if you"re in the right one. The professor, when he or she stumbles into class, will most likely announce what class you are in. If by some reason, instead of reaching English 1302, you have ended up in Music theory, just remain seated until the class is over and try to checkout some of the excess intelligence floating around you. You can find your real class next time. Another thing that frightens incoming freshmen is looking stupid in class. Don't worry. If the gaze of your crazy Biology teacher happens to fall directly on you, you don't need to try to sink down in you seat, or pretend that you are diligently taking notes, because all you could know is that he could be looking at someone else.
