You must already believe that you"re not about to lie; you have to have it embedded in your head that you"re about to speak the truth. Your body must be completely calm and relaxed. Make it a point not to fidget around, give direct eye contact to the person you are talking to. You must also make sure that you can back up your lie; (i.e.) have some type of alibi .
