Over the centuries man has created a thing called religion. A religion is the worship and service of a God or the supernatural. Along with worship and service come attitudes, beliefs, and practices, which tie in with the commitment and devotion it takes to believe in your faith. Not everyone could agree on one religion so the religion's ideas branched out and were manipulated to fit the culture of a certain area. One cause of war on this earth is religion. For example in World War II, Hitler thought the Jewish faith was a disgrace to mankind.
What did he do about it? He captured all Jews in Europe and put half of them in concentration camps for physical labor and the other half were killed in non-civilized ways, only because they were not strong enough to work. This is just one of the many wars that was caused because of the clashing ideas of each religion. I don't believe that one religion alone has the power to stop wars and total inhalation of the world, or also known as Armageddon. .
In the faiths of Christianity and Catholic, they believe in a thing called the Trinity. This Trinity consists of Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit and how these three are one. The Trinity could also be looked at as an egg. The outer shell or the physical part of the egg that we can touch is the Holy Spirit. It is the tangible part. The yolk is God, which is also the central part of the egg, the most important part. Connected to the yolk is the egg white, which is Jesus. Without one of these three things the egg could no longer be whole, which is exactly how the Trinity works. The Jews are a little different in that they don't believe in the Trinity. Jews believe that Jesus and God are not one person. They are waiting for the day when Jesus comes back to earth as a person. But for him to come back, we need to make the world a better place. The Buddhists, on the other hand, do not believe in a god. They believe they were put on the earth to reach enlightenment.
