Blue light resemble heaven and the peace there. Death is shown by the brown in the painting. There are two naked skeletons in the picture that are as close to death as possible without being dead, there is also a drowning body with its arm sticking out of the water. A dead tree and a carcus are the other uses of brown in the painting.
             Directional forces also play a major part in the way that the way the artwork is viewed, interpreted, and felt. The left side of the picture is the beginning The human figure has a saying under it which states "The New Place" the humans feet are on top of the saying. The human's head is looking at the calm stream, which leads the viewer to the two naked skeletons standing to the left. The skeleton to the right is looking up at the three-headed monsters, to its right. All six eyes of the monster are staring at the skeleton to the left. The skeleton is looking down at the ground to the left of it. One the ground is a small pool of water with a hand that is waiting to be rescued. The hand is pointing to the right towards the dead tree. At the top of the dead tree is a dashed line that is arched to the right at the ground. At the bottom of the line is a coffin shaped figure and under the coffin is a rotting carcus. The hand of the carcus is sticking in the calm stream, which is stopped by another saying that says "Don't Play Yourself", the saying is met by a bright blue light that leads to the clouds. The top of the artwork is covered with clouds that are moving to the left, back towards the beginning of the drawing. Another bright blue light glimmers through the clouds the light touches the human. That is how the directional forces lead the viewer through the artwork, interprets the artwork, and how it makes the viewer feel about the artwork. .
             The shape of the artwork is also a major element of art that is used. There are posotive or figure shapes, organic shapes, and underlying structures are used in the artwork.
