It gives me a considerable pleasure to tell you about myself, my aspirations and plans for studying at Hannibal-LaGrange College. Upon completion of High School in 2002 I started to pursue my tertiary education at Lindenwood University. At Lindenwood University, I was a Pre - Nursing major student completing necessary general education requirements for a Nursing degree. .
At Hannibal-LaGrange College, I plan to major in the traditional BSN Nursing Program. Ever since I was young boy I've always had a keen interest for the medical field. I was accepted into the "Pre-Med" program at Lindenwood University but soon realized that becoming a Medical Doctor was not my calling. After completing a lot of research about a career in nursing I was enthralled by this health care field. Upon completion of the BSN program I plan to specialize in Critical Care Nursing. My long-term career goal is achieve a Doctorate of Nursing (ND) degree with emphasis in Family Nursing Practice. The main reason I would like to become a Nurse is because I like helping people and working in medically related activities. Studying at Hannibal-LaGrange College will help and strengthen me to achieve this goal successfully. .
By the grace of God, I hope to achieve my goal in becoming a Nurse and completing the course of study with distinction. I believe that no obstacle will hinder me from succeeding. I will not fall prey to any temptation of negative nature in my struggle to do well, maximize my potential and achieve my goals. I view the future with optimism, since I know the sky is truly the limit, and I am determined to not only attain my career objectives but also be a role model for future generations that I hope will benefit from my personal academic exposure. .
