The Red Badge of Courage


Now he knew that in order for him to be a hero, he can not just run away from battle. That is what cowards do, and he knew that. So in order for him to be a hero, he has to follow his instincts, like his mom said, and fight like a man. And thus brings me to my third and final key lesson learned in this story.
             And the third and final key lesson learned in this story is that after a while, you will do the right thing. He does the right thing in the last battle were they charge the other opponents. In this battle, he finally realizes why he is here. He realizes what he has to do to be a hero. And he does it. Soon he is in a rage, and he starts running towards the enemy firing his gun. He is running to go get his flag. The flag that represents his country for which he was born in. Then when to reaches the flag and starts firing at the enemy and keeps them away.
             In conclusion, the story, "The Red Badge of Courage" has three very important lesson that are learned from reading the story. One key lesson that is learned is that you should do what you think is right. The second key lesson that is learned here is that you shall never give up. And the third and final key lesson that is learned in this story is after a while, you will do the right thing. These three lessons that are learned from the story are very important to know if you are considering to join the army or whatever. .
