Although it may seem a bit strange, I can relate to the love tale of Pyramus and Thisbe. Fortunately, this relation does not include the tragic ending and has a couple of other major differences. Nonetheless, the correlation does involve a relationship of two youths that, at first, is forbidden by parents. .
First of all, when my relationship first began, my mom still had not agreed on me dating and his parents as well didn't agree on him dating yet. This of course was a problem and coming from the same backgrounds, we both knew and understood what each other's parents thought. We learned more and more about each other and learned that we had much in common. The more time we spent together, the closer we became and the more we cared for each other.
Our parents still disagreed with our relationship, but just like the story says, .
"Love, however, cannot be forbidden. The more that flame is covered up, the hotter it burns. Also love can always find a way. It was impossible that these two whose hearts were on fire should be kept apart." .
Our parents eventually realized that we truly cared for and loved each other and gradually allowed us to see each other. This and the fact that I lived was the major factor of differentiation between the myth and my life. However, this story was like the fairy tale version of that epoch of my life. .
