The Gospel of Matthew


Matthew states in a message that until all laws of the commandments are exceeded by righteousness, you will never be able to enter heaven. He explains that heaven and earth will continue and every law will continue to exist till its purpose is achieved.

             It is spoken that a person shall not kill and if you do you will answer to judgment, placed in prison and not be allowed out till you have paid back in full for you sin. When couples are married the idea that you should not cheat on your spouse is formed from an idea of Matthew 5:27, "thou shalt not commit adultery". But, everyone who has looked at a woman and lusted for her has already committed that sin of adultery in heart. So, if your eye causes you to sin dig it out and toss it away, because it is said that it is better to loose and eye that you entire body to hell. To add to the adultery passage, it is stated that if you marry a divorced woman who is considered an adulteress is also accused of adultery in need of God help, a prayer is normally used. People pray for two different reasons. The first being, that a person doing so only to be seen and given a reward on earth to the extent of being thought of as a righteous person by others. The second reason is to be heard by God and God only. One passage explains that if those who want God to hear their word should go in private behind closed doors and speak to God with a pure heart shall receive their reward in heaven. We are asked to not use big excessive words or repeat the same words over again, because God already is aware of what we need before we ask him. The prayer is consider most important, because God is listening to our problems, wants and needs. The words; Our farther who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our daily bread: and forgive us our debt, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us in to temptation, but deliver us from evil (Matthew 6:9-13).
