Wuthering heights



             One night, during a big storm, Mr. Earnshaw died when Catherine was sitting at her father's feet. Hindley came home for funeral with his wife, Frances. He had not told anyone about his marriage. Frances was a cheerful and happy girl. Hindley's behavior had become worse. He no more treated well to the servants. He stopped Heathcliff's education and sent him to work in the fields. Catherine was teaching Heathcliff in the fields. One day they disappeared and Heathcliff returned home alone. Catherine spent the night in Thrushcross Grange. Mr. and Mrs. Linton sent Heathcliff away. Catherine was bitten by a dog. She was treated by the Linton family. She sat in the sitting room with the children of the family, Edgar and Isabella. Hindley was angry. He forbade Heathcliff to speak to Catherine. He threatened him to throw out.
             Catherine stayed at Thrushcross Grange for five weeks, until she got better. She was wearing beautiful and clean clothes. Heathcliff was very dirty. Catherine looked at his dirty clothes and this made Heathcliff angry. The Lintons were invited to Wuthering Heights the next morning. They wanted Heathcliff to be away from their children. Heathcliff passed his time in the moors and when he returned he wanted Nelly to clean him. she told him to have a better appearance and behavior. .
             One day, in June 1778, Frances gave birth to Hareton. He was the last Earnshaw. The doctor did not think that Frances would survive. She was sick. Hindley did not believe the doctor. She was the most important person in his life. After a week, she died. Hindley was so unhappy. He ignored his son. He treated Heathcliff worse than before. The guests visiting the house became fewer; only Edgar Linton came to visit Catherine. Catherine was friendly with the Lintons. She gained their admiration. When Edgar visited Catherine, she kept him away from Heathcliff. Edgar began to fall in love with Catherine. Hindley did not want Edgar to visit Catherine.
