Desperately seeking an interviewee, I thought of the only two people whom had the experience and innocence trapped within their soul. My grandparents on my mother's side, live in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila (Mexico), which borders Del Rio thirty miles from Brackettville. My grandmother is sixty-four years old and my grandfather is seventy-three years old. Both of them met the criteria to complete this project, which were age and two awesome stories to tell. A young story about the person being interviewed taking place in their childhood was necessary, as well as an experience story in which the person had at least thirty years old. Indecisive about who I was going to interview, I decided to let them decide within themselves which one was willing to share part of their past. I predicted that my grandfather was going to volunteer since he was very talkative and enjoyed sharing stories from when he used to live in a ranch as a child. After a few minutes, my grandmother volunteered stating that since this was for a very important college class, she was going to share two of her stories. Shocked, but at the same time glad that my grandmother volunteered, I began asking her questions about herself. She said that she was born to a poor family in Muzquiz, Coahuila. She said that her family lived in a ranch where her father was a rancher and her mom a housewife. The house where they lived lacked certain commodities that we enjoy today. There was no electricity, but still made the best out of it. .
